EMBA alumni: Official Kick-off of the cross-business schools network (NEOMA, EDHEC, ESSEC)

The Global Executive MBA club was founded by Alexandra Cappadoro in January 2019 with the objective of creating a link between Alumni, NEOMA Business School and current Students.

To develop the network and strengthen synergies between Alumni, Cappadoro contacted other triple accredited Business Schools to launch the Executive MBA alumni network. She noticed that “we share same references, similar mindsets and a common business culture. We, the graduates, are not in competition with each other like our Schools, and it happens that we share tips, available or upcoming positions, ideas etc.”.

Having worked for over a decade for INSEAD, Cappadoro started by using her own network and in September 2019 the first emails went out to a few targeted Schools.

Fabrice VYNCK, an ESSEC graduate, was the very first one to believe in this project and to continue to invest all along. We created a first informal event: Same degree, 2 schools: EMBA alumni of NEOMA BS & ESSEC share experiences | NEOMA Alumni - Network of NEOMA Business School graduates (neoma-alumni.com) (November 2019)

Together we continued to activate our own networks. EDHEC Alumni has joined us. And I would like to salute, here, Pascal TANGAPREGASSAM for his involvement. We created another informal event: Same degree, 3 schools: EMBA alumni of NEOMA BS, ESSEC & EDHEC share experiences | NEOMA Alumni - NEOMA Business School Alumni Network (neoma-alumni.com)

Seeing that the interest was present from all 3 alumni networks, we imagined a prestigious event to make this network official.

NEOMA's network is extraordinary. Gerald Krischek, the General Manager of the Prince of Wales Hotel, is also an NEOMA Executive MBA Graduate. Of course, he wanted to be associated with the launch of this new network. Palace, address impossible to circumvent, perfect place to make a beautiful prestigious event, and for quite simply its important meetings, it was perfect as place of choice.

The questionnaire reveals:

8.15/10: What is your level of satisfaction with this event?

8.65/10: Are you likely to participate to one of our events in the future?

8.75/10: How likely are you to tell an MBA friend about this event?

75%: Are you interested to volunteer with us in the future?

The conclusion is that the network is everything!
