Take part in a guided tour of this temporary and exceptional location: Les Grands voisins, the physical proof that it is possible to create a diverse space for the common good in the centre of Paris, for a few years.
Housing people in need, hosting NGOs and social companies, encouraging the presence of craftsmen and creators, sharing tools and working spaces, creating a new and unique public park with educational, cultural and sports activities, open to all residents and tourists. Welcome to Les Grands voisins! Located in the former Saint-Vincent-de-Paul hospital, Les Grands voisins will soon be transformed in an open and connected neighbourhood: come and experience another way of life in the city.
This one-and-a-half-hour guided tour is organised by people working for an association that supports the social and professional inclusion of people in conditions of extreme social fragility.
The visit will address the site’s general aspect, with a look at the location’s history, a presentation of the project’s various actors and initiatives and an opening on the site’s future.
