NATHALIE ROOS (PGE 87) : MAKING THE LIVES OF OTHERS MORE BEAUTIFUL
Described by the magazine L'Opinion as "a visionary leader who questions the status quo, who changes the rules of the game for the common good", Nathalie Roos recognises her ability to combine economic and human performance. The WO.MEN's café on 14 December 2021 will bear witness to a woman who has managed to reconcile family and professional life, driven by a free and confident state of mind.

Now a member of Bel's board of directors, Nathalie's career has been guided by a deep desire to make an impact and change the lives of those around her. Her choices have been geared towards maintaining a balance between her professional and personal life, while always putting her family first. Married at twenty-five, she gave birth to three children in five years. "My children grew up quickly, which allowed me to invest more in my work. At the age of twenty-three, she became a regional sales manager at Kraft Foods in Lyon, before resigning to join her husband in Strasbourg. She then began a career at Mars as a sector manager before holding various marketing positions for eleven years.

Nathalie decided to leave Mars in 2000. She felt that she had reached the limits of what she could do from Alsace but refused to move so that her husband could keep his dental practice. She also ruled out the possibility of travelling to continue to look after her children. She was then hired by Kronenbourg as a sales manager. The position was below her skill level, but she was happy to be involved with a major Alsatian company and to be exposed to a different retail sector. In 2004, Mars came looking for her and offered her the position of General Manager France and President Europe.
